Anonymous asked: how do you know that god isn't real?
look around you. if this so called loving, caring god was real then why the hell would he let all these horrible things happen? he just sits there and lets children and innocent people get raped, murdered and so on.
if he’s real then why haven’t we seen him? yes, i understand there are billions of things we’ve never seen that actually exist, but those creatures or life forms, planets etc. aren’t apparently the sole creator of the universe. and we certainly don’t worship them.
there are so many different religions with their own god and ideas about him or her or w.e. if god did exist then why would so many people have different ideas of what it is about the same thing? maybe because they are all believing in something that was made up many years ago to explain things that aren’t easily explained. look at Santa Claus. so many cultures all over the world have different ideas and names for him. they all use him as an excuse not to tell their children they bought the gifts and to keep them disciplined(you know how many times when i was a child my mother told me Santa wasn’t coming if i didn’t behave?) but he obviously does not exist. a man in a red suit with a magic flying sleigh and reindeer has never landed on my roof to bring me gifts the night before christmas.
i don’t feel like rambling on forever about the countless reasons why god does not exist. i’d much rather be blogging >.> god and religion is just a useless way of lazily explaining why things happen and another way of dictating. but believe what you want. i’m not here to tell you what you can and can not believe. i don’t believe in it. that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t. i’m just not going to devote my life to believing in something to only be disappointed when i die. if it is real then hopefully hell has wifi.
